Faridpur is a town and a nagar panchayat in Bareilly district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. In the age of British Rule Ram Kumar Agrawal was the Jameendar and collector of this town. Presently Faridpur is famous for Jari work, Sarrafa (Gold and Silver Jwellery).

Inter College (Only intermediate college for girls education) 5. Manas Sthali Boarding School. Although Intermediate Education sector is not in very good shape yet there are some highly ambitious projects are being built currently at undergraduate and postgraduate level at Bareilly-Shahjahanpur road because of cheaply available land resources and sound environment.
